Red Fox Kits
Standing about four feet at the shoulder and weighing between 130-350 pounds, both male and female caribou grow antlers as long as three feet or more. Caribou population in Denali National Park has decreased from about 10,000 in the 1970 to approximately 1,800 presently, due to weather severity and predation. Caribou are part of Denali’s “Big Five,” wolves, moose, Dall sheep, bears and caribou.
